Tiny Fishing hooks people with one simple trick: drop the line, steer through the fish, haul them up, and spend the coins on a deeper line. Ten minutes disappear before you notice. We wanted that loop on a web page you can open anywhere, so we built Deepcast, a stripped-down fishing game that runs right here. It is free, loads in a second, and needs no install and no signup.
Play Deepcast now
Tap Cast, steer the hook, and reel up your catch. It plays best with sound on.
How to play
Press Cast (or Space) and the hook sinks. Drag your finger left and right, use the arrow keys or A and D, or just move the mouse to steer it. The hook only catches fish on the way back up, so you can reel in early with a second tap when a school looks better closer to the surface. At the bottom of your line it turns around by itself.
A tide lasts 75 seconds. Sell your catch, then spend the coins in the shop on a longer line, a bigger basket, a wider hook net, a better market stall, or a faster reel. The fish log fills in as you meet nine species, from silver minnows to the Moonfin.
Every day has its own Golden current, a band of water where fish pay double. It sits at the same depth for everyone that day, with a school waiting in it. Your upgrades, best tide, and daily streak are saved on your device, and nothing leaves your browser. Press R to restart a tide and M to toggle sound.
How it compares to Tiny Fishing
We kept the part that carries the original: the cast, the steering, the haul, and the upgrade loop that turns a handful of coins into a deeper line. Rounds are short, restarting takes one tap, and every purchase changes how the next cast feels. The first upgrade is affordable inside your first tide, and the full shop takes several hours to clear.
We left out a lot on purpose. Deepcast has no ads, no purchase prompts, no boosts you can watch a video for, and no account. It also has no lures that rotate, no events, and no cosmetic boats. The fish, boat, and sea are our own drawings, not Winter Studio’s.
Pick the real game if you want its longer progression, its different fish and worlds, and an app that works when you are away from a browser. Pick the page above if you want five quiet minutes without installing anything. The two can live side by side. If you like this kind of calm loop, our roundup of casual fishing games for Android covers six more.

Frequently asked questions
Can I play Tiny Fishing in a browser?
Tiny Fishing is an Android app, and we do not know of an official browser version. Deepcast, embedded above, is our own browser game built around the same cast, reel, and upgrade loop. It runs on any modern phone or desktop browser with nothing to install.
Is this the real Tiny Fishing?
No. Deepcast is an original game we built, inspired by the loop that made Tiny Fishing popular. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Winter Studio. If you want the official game, the download links above go to the real app.
Is Deepcast free?
Yes. There are no ads, no purchases, no accounts, and no data collection. Your coins, upgrades, best tide, and streak are stored locally on your device.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, the game makes no network requests, so it keeps running if your connection drops. Starting it fresh while offline needs the page cached by your browser first.
What is the Golden current?
It is the daily bonus. Each day the game picks a band of water, the same for every player, where fish pay double and a school of fish waits. It scales with your line length, so it is always within reach.
