How to use it
Scanly reads standard QR codes along with common retail barcode formats like EAN, UPC, and Code 128, using your browser’s built-in decoder rather than a third-party library. The moment it finds a code, it shows you the decoded text and labels what kind of content it is. A link gets its own Visit button so you can see exactly where it goes before you open it. Anything else, from a Wi-Fi code to a plain sentence, gets a Copy button so you can paste it wherever you need it.
Your last few scans are kept in a Recent row so you can pull one back up without rescanning it. That history lives in your browser’s local storage on your device, and the Clear button erases it instantly. Nothing you scan is sent to a server at any point, and the small speaker icon lets you turn on a short confirmation beep if you want one; it stays off by default.
