Pokémon UNITE promotional artwork showing trainers and creatures in a lane arena

Pokémon UNITE turned the 5v5 MOBA into something anyone could pick up: push a lane, knock out wild creatures for XP, level up mid-match, and dunk points into the enemy goal before time runs out. A lot of people search for a way to try that loop without installing a 300MB app first. So we built Glowlane, a single-lane arcade version of that same push-and-score rhythm that runs right here in your browser. Free, no install, no signup.

How to play

Move your Spark with WASD or the arrow keys, or drag the on-screen stick on a phone. Space (or the ATTACK button) fires a short-range hit, and once you reach level 2 you unlock a special attack on a cooldown, bound to E or the SP button. Clear the wild critters camped on either side of the lane for XP. Each level makes your Spark bigger, brighter, and hits harder.

The real objective sits at the far end of the lane: walk into the glowing ring and hold it for about a second to score, while a defender patrols nearby and will knock you back if it catches you. You get 75 seconds per round to rack up as many scores as you can. Your best score, streak, and today’s arena name are saved on your device. Nothing leaves your browser.

Every day seeds a fresh arena layout and a slightly different defender, named things like “Ember Vale” or “Misty Ridge,” so there’s a reason to come back and beat today’s version.

How it compares to Pokémon UNITE

Glowlane keeps the part of Pokémon UNITE that hooked us: the loop of clearing small objectives for XP, feeling your character grow stronger mid-run, and racing to bank points before a defender stops you. The tension of pushing up a lane while a clock counts down is the same feeling, just compressed into a single round you can finish on a coffee break.

We deliberately left almost everything else out. This is a solo game with one lane, not a 5v5 team battle across three lanes with a full roster of real Pokémon, held items, and ranked matchmaking. There’s no team play, no character roster to unlock, no seasons, and no real creatures anywhere in it. Everyone in Glowlane, including your Spark and the defender, is an original design we made for this page.

If the push-and-score rhythm here clicks with you, the real Pokémon UNITE is a much deeper game: five-player teams, multiple lanes, dozens of playable Pokémon with unique movesets, and matches that reward coordination with actual teammates. Our version is a taste of that loop you can try in seconds. The full game is the real thing.

Pokémon UNITE is free to play on Android, with real 5v5 matches, a full roster of playable Pokémon, and ranked seasons. It’s a much bigger commitment than a 75-second browser round, but it delivers the team-based depth this page only hints at.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play Pokémon UNITE in a browser?

The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio have not published an official browser version of Pokémon UNITE. The game on this page, Glowlane, is our own original arcade game inspired by its push-and-score loop, and it runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop with nothing to install. For the real Pokémon UNITE you need the app on Android or iOS.

Is this the real Pokémon UNITE?

No. Glowlane is an original game we built from scratch, inspired by the lane-pushing and scoring mechanics that made Pokémon UNITE popular. It has no real Pokémon, no licensed characters, and no connection to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or TiMi Studio. All creatures, art, and sound in our version are original work, and the download links above point to the official app.

Is it free?

Completely. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, and no data collection. Your best score, streak, and level progress are stored in your browser’s local storage and never sent anywhere.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, Glowlane makes no further network requests, so it keeps working through connection drops. Pokémon UNITE itself needs a stable internet connection since every match is played online with other players.

Is this a multiplayer MOBA like the real game?

No, Glowlane is single player. You play against an AI-controlled defender rather than another team, and each round only lasts about 75 seconds. Pokémon UNITE is a real 5v5 team game with matchmaking, ranked seasons, and a full roster of Pokémon to choose from. If you want that team-based depth, the full app is the way to get it.
